The plans included a complete restyling of the exterior from a Cape to a traditional Arts and Crafts style bungalow. The project included the addition of a new portico on the front facade, a new roofline, extension of the roof overhang, new siding, all Azek trim, synthetic stone chimney, brick/paver walkways, and driveway and a drywell. After meeting with 3 contractors, my wife and I decided on Frank Mannion Construction. The supplier was in Connecticut. Frank set off at 4am to pickup the special shipment and he and the stone arrived for work on schedule that morning. Frank and his crew have a good design sense. Not every detail was spelled out in the architectural plans. When a question came up, Frank would confer with us, we would agree on an idea and with a keen eye for good proportion and clean lines, Frank’s crew would execute that detail.
